Who We Are

Here at Laid Out in Lavender Flower Farm, a simple mission thrives: to provide beautiful bouquets to those in Hospice Care. With each painstakingly tended bloom, the farm cultivates not just a garden, but a tangible symbol of comfort.

What started out as a nurse that enjoys gardening has evolved into a nurse who grows flowers for her patients. Each bouquet is lovingly pieced together and delivered into the hands of those who have entered into hospice care.

The name Laid Out in Lavender comes from a phrase that was used long ago in reference to someone’s passing away. A time when we used to prepare the bodies of our loved ones for burial…”She was all laid out in lavender.” This name is a gentle nod in remembrance of what I do, and why I do it.

Selling to the community helps to keep this mission going. Every bit of support is appreciated beyond measure.
